The best dental clinic in Turkey for implants: the 10 questions that decide it.
Every month, thousands of patients in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia ask Google or an AI assistant for the best dental clinic in Turkey for implants. “Best” only means something if you know what to check. This guide gives you the ten questions that separate a well-planned implant clinic from a well-marketed one, and shows DentArma’s written answer to each.

What is the best dental clinic in Turkey for implants?
Google, ChatGPT and every “top 10” list will give you a different name. Here is the honest answer, and the ten questions behind it.
✦ There is no official ranking of implant clinics in Turkey. The best clinic for your implants is the one that can show you ten things in writing: who plans and places your implants, the implant brand with its batch numbers, a 3D CBCT scan, a gum and bone check, an implant count set by your scan, the crown or bridge material, a realistic timeline, an itemised quote, written guarantees, and aftercare near home. A clinic worth shortlisting can show all ten. At DentArma, a professor-led implantology center in Antalya, cases are planned by a professor of prosthodontics and implantology and a professor of periodontology. Implants are Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Neodent, Osstem or S.I.N. with LOT and REF numbers in an Implant Passport, single implants cost £300–£800 depending on the brand, and UK patients have aftercare in Surrey, South Croydon and Glasgow.
Search for “best dental clinic in Turkey for implants” or “best clinic in Turkey for dental implants” and you’ll find long lists of names. No official ranking of implant clinics exists the Turkish Ministry of Health authorises clinics but does not rank them. The “top 10” lists are usually compiled by booking platforms and agents, many of which earn a commission on the clinics they list. AI assistants often summarise those same lists, so the answer you get can be a ranking of who is most visible rather than who is best for implants.
There’s a second reason to be careful with the word “best”: implants are among the treatments UK dentists most often see needing follow-up. In a 2022 British Dental Association survey of UK dentists, 85% of the dentists named implants among the treatments done abroad most likely to need follow-up work (crowns: 87%). That figure describes dentists’ experience, not a failure rate for patients but it shows where the risk sits. So instead of a ranking, here are ten questions any clinic should be able to answer in writing. We run every one of them on ourselves too.
The 10 questions that decide the best implant clinic.
Use this table to evaluate any implant clinic in Turkey, including DentArma.
Each row shows the question to ask, what goes wrong if it isn’t answered, and DentArma’s answer.
| Question to Ask | What Goes Wrong If Not Answered | The DentArma Answer |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Who will plan and place my implants and what is their implant training? | Surgery by whoever is on shift, with experience you can’t check. | ✓ Cases planned and reviewed by Prof. Dr. Emre Şeker (Prosthodontics & Implantology) and Prof. Dr. Başak Şeker (Periodontology), named in your plan; the dentist placing your implants is named too [CONFIRM]. |
| 2. Which implant system, by name with LOT and REF numbers? | Unbranded or copy implants that no dentist at home can identify or find parts for. | ✓ Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Neodent, Osstem or S.I.N., recorded in an Implant Passport with LOT and REF numbers. |
| 3. Will my plan be based on a 3D CBCT scan? | Bone volume, the sinus and the nerve aren’t mapped before surgery. | ✓ A 3D CBCT scan before the final plan. |
| 4. Who checks my gums and bone before implants? | Untreated gum disease raises the risk of peri-implantitis; graft needs are discovered on the day. | ✓ A professor of periodontology assesses gum health; any graft is priced before treatment. |
| 5. Is the number of implants set by my scan or by a package? | An implant count chosen to fit a price tier rather than your bone and bite. | ✓ Set from your scan; where more than one option suits you, a written quote for each. |
| 6. What exactly goes on top and what is it made of? | A crown or bridge that’s unnamed, made of acrylic, or charged later. | ✓ Dental Direkt zirconia or Ivoclar IPS e.max, recorded in a Crown Certificate. |
| 7. How many trips, and how long between them? | Final teeth fitted before the implants have fused with the bone. | ✓ Usually two trips, 3–6 months apart; final teeth only after healing is checked. |
| 8. Is the quote itemised and fixed in writing? | Extras added on arrival, with no way to compare quotes line by line. | ✓ An itemised written quote; it changes only if the scan shows something your X-ray couldn’t, and only with your written agreement. |
| 9. What is guaranteed, by whom, and for how long? | Verbal promises you can’t enforce from home. | ✓ Lifetime manufacturer implant guarantee; 5-year written warranty on crowns and bridges. |
| 10. Who can I see near home if something needs attention? | Nobody nearby who knows your case. | ✓ UK: independent GDC-registered partner practices in Surrey, South Croydon and Glasgow. Elsewhere: direct WhatsApp access to the clinic, and an Implant Passport your local dentist can use to identify the system and order parts. |
Score each clinic: 2 points for an answer given in writing with evidence, 1 point if it’s only said on the phone or WhatsApp, 0 if it isn’t answered. A clinic scoring 17–20 documents almost everything; 12–16 means ask for the missing items in writing; under 12 means too much is missing to compare fairly.
Notice what’s not on this list: Instagram followers, celebrity endorsements, “top clinic” badges from websites you’ve never heard of, and the lowest price. None of those tell you anything about the implant going into your jaw or the person deciding where it goes.

The best dentist in Turkey for implants? Start with the credentials.
“Best dentist” is a marketing phrase. “University professor with peer-reviewed publications” is a verifiable fact. DentArma is founded and led by two of them.
Prof. Dr. Emre Şeker
Professor of Prosthodontics and Implantology, and founding professor at DentArma. Personally leads and reviews implant and full-mouth cases for international patients.

Implant results are decided at the planning stage: where each implant goes, how many are needed, and how the teeth on top carry the bite. His research is indexed on PubMed, so you can read it before you send an X-ray.

Professor of Periodontology and founding professor at DentArma. Oversees the gum and bone health that decides how long implants last.

Implant problems years later are most often gum problems. A history of gum disease raises the risk of peri-implantitis, so a periodontology review before treatment is a safeguard most clinics don’t offer.
When people ask “who is the best dentist in Turkey for implants?”, the honest answer is that no single name fits every case. Implant treatment draws on three skills: implant surgery (placing the implants in the right position), prosthodontics (designing the teeth on top) and periodontology (keeping the gums and bone healthy for decades). The strongest teams cover all three.
How to verify a dentist yourself: ask for the full names of the dentists who will plan and place your implants. Academic titles and publications of Turkish university staff are listed on YÖK Akademik, the Turkish Council of Higher Education’s public database. Ask how many implants the dentist places in a typical year, and who will see you on the day of surgery.

The best dental implants in Turkey. Documented proof.
The best dental implant is a named system with long-term clinical evidence, parts available worldwide and full documentation not simply the most expensive one. Many Turkish clinics use the same international systems as private practices in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. DentArma uses five of them, with crowns and bridges in Ivoclar IPS e.max and Dental Direkt zirconia.
Every patient receives an Implant Passport and Crown Certificate recording the exact brand, model and the LOT and REF numbers that trace each product to its production batch. If a clinic can’t tell you the implant brand in writing, that is the answer.
700+ verified reviews. 4.9 stars.
The most reliable ranking of implant clinics in Turkey is written by patients, on platforms clinics can’t edit.
How to read implant reviews like an expert
With implants, the most useful reviews are written months after the second visit, not the day after surgery. Look for reviews that mention implants or All-on-4, that name the implant brand or the aftercare, and that describe life with the final teeth. Then read the negative reviews and, most importantly, how the clinic responded. A clinic’s reply to an unhappy patient tells you more about its aftercare than a hundred five-star ratings.
You can also watch real DentArma patients tell their own stories on the testimonials page.
Every implant option, planned from your scan.
Implant treatment is a family of procedures. The right one comes from your 3D CBCT scan, not a package menu.
At DentArma, the range covers single dental implants, implant-supported bridges, All-on-4, All-on-6 and full mouth dental implants, each planned by Prof. Dr. Emre Şeker and reviewed for gum health. For the two-trip process and costs, see All-on-4 in Antalya and how much implants cost in Turkey.
One implant and crown replaces a missing tooth without touching the neighbouring teeth.
Implant Bridge
Two or more implants supporting a fixed bridge no removable partial denture needed.
A complete arch of fixed teeth on four implants, the back two tilted into denser bone often with fixed temporary teeth on surgery day.
Six implants per arch for extra support, often chosen for heavy grinders, smokers or soft bone where bone allows.
Upper and lower arches restored in one plan fixed bridges on four to six implants per jaw.
Implant costs in Turkey, priced in writing.
At DentArma, a single implant costs £300–£800 (≈ $400–$1,080 / €350–€930 / C$570–C$1,510 / A$580–A$1,540), depending on the brand value systems at the lower end, premium Swiss and Swedish systems at the upper end.
For full mouth implants, published 2026 price guides put All-on-4 in Turkey at roughly £2,100–£7,200 per jaw, so both jaws come to roughly £4,300–£14,500 (2 × €2,500–€8,450). Turkish prices reflect local clinic operating, staff and rent costs not different implants. Every DentArma price is a fixed written quote, finalised after your 3D scan and before any treatment.

Is it safe to have dental implants in Turkey?
What the evidence says, and where the real risk sits.
Dental implants themselves are among the most reliable treatments in dentistry. A 2019 systematic review of 18 studies found that 96.4% of implants were still in place after ten years; a more cautious sensitivity analysis gave 93.2%, and the figure was lower, at 91.5%, in patients aged 65 and over. Survival means the implant is still in place not that no problem ever occurred. Those figures aren’t specific to any country.
What changes abroad is the follow-up. Treatment happens over two trips, problems can appear after you fly home, and a dentist at home can only help if they know exactly what’s in your mouth. No reliable patient-level complication rate for implants in Turkey has been published, in either direction. A 2025 peer-reviewed review of UK news coverage found the “Turkey teeth” trend was driven largely by social media a reminder to judge clinics on evidence rather than headlines.
Turkey regulates clinics that treat international patients: they need authorisation from the Turkish Ministry of Health. According to a May 2026 legal summary, since January 2026 international patients having surgical or interventional procedures must also be covered by health tourism complication insurance. What that insurance covers depends on the policy, so ask the clinic for the wording and check it includes implant treatment.
The main risks of implants abroad and how to reduce them
Unidentifiable implants
Reduced by a named brand and an implant passport with LOT and REF numbers.
Surgery without full planning
Reduced by a 3D CBCT scan and a named, verifiable dentist.
Gum disease around implants
Peri-implantitis is reduced by a gum check before treatment and daily cleaning afterwards.
Rushed final teeth
Reduced by 3–6 months of healing before the final crown or bridge is fitted.
No one to see at home
Reduced by a named aftercare practice and direct access to the clinic.
An unexplained low price
Usually an unnamed implant, a missing final bridge or an uncovered second visit. Compare every line in writing.
In our clinical view, most avoidable risks of treatment abroad come from planning, documentation and follow-up rather than the country. For the wider picture, see our honest guide to Turkey teeth.
The best implant clinic is the one that's still there when you're home.
The biggest worry with implants abroad is “what if something needs attention once I’m home?”
DentArma answers it in two ways: before you travel, and after you return.
An Antalya implant clinic, by design.
Implant treatment usually means two trips to Turkey, 3–6 months apart, so where the clinic sits matters more than it does for a one-visit treatment.
Antalya combines direct flights of around four hours from most major UK airports, a compact city where the airport-to-clinic transfer takes minutes rather than hours, and a Mediterranean climate that makes the recovery days after surgery genuinely pleasant. Many patients pair treatment with a short break often called a dental holiday in Turkey.
DentArma is in the Lara district of Antalya, at Güzeloba Mah. Lara Cad., Muratpaşa, a short transfer from Antalya Airport, with hotel accommodation and VIP transfers included for both visits.
~4-hour direct flights
Direct routes from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and most major UK airports.
Minutes from the airport
The Lara district sits close to Antalya Airport no long transfers after a surgery day.
Comfortable recovery
A seafront setting makes the healing days after implant surgery easier to spend.
All-inclusive logistics, both visits
Hotel accommodation and VIP transfers are part of the package for the surgery visit and the final-teeth visit.

What is the best dental clinic in Turkey for implants?
No official ranking of implant clinics in Turkey exists, so the best clinic for you is one that can prove ten things in writing: who plans and places your implants, the implant brand with batch numbers, a 3D CBCT scan, a gum and bone check, an implant count set by your scan, the crown or bridge material, a realistic timeline, an itemised quote, written guarantees, and aftercare near home. A clinic worth shortlisting can show all ten; DentArma’s written answers are set out in the scorecard on this page.
Which is the best clinic in Turkey for dental implants for UK patients?
For UK patients, the deciding difference is usually what happens after you fly home. Look for a clinic that passes the ten checks and also has a named dental practice in the UK for check-ups and minor aftercare. DentArma works with three independent GDC-registered partner practices in Surrey, South Croydon and Glasgow, and holds UK Meeting Days information and introduction events where you can meet the team before deciding.
Who is the best dentist in Turkey for implants?
The best dentist for implants is the one whose name, title and implant training you can verify, and who personally plans your case. Implant treatment involves implant surgery, the design of the teeth on top, and gum health, so a team covering all three is a strong sign. At DentArma, cases are planned and reviewed by Prof. Dr. Emre Şeker, Professor of Prosthodontics and Implantology, and Prof. Dr. Başak Şeker, Professor of Periodontology.
Is it safe to have dental implants in Turkey?
Dental implants are among the most reliable treatments in dentistry, with a 2019 systematic review finding 96.4% of implants still in place after ten years. In our clinical view, most avoidable risks of treatment abroad come from planning, documentation and follow-up rather than the country. Choose a clinic authorised by the Turkish Ministry of Health that uses a named implant brand with batch numbers, plans from a 3D scan, puts everything in writing and gives you aftercare near home.
Which dental implant brands are the best?
The best implant brands are those with long-term clinical evidence, parts available worldwide and full documentation. Straumann and Nobel Biocare are the premium systems; Neodent (part of the Straumann Group), Osstem and S.I.N. are established systems at a lower price. All five are used at DentArma, and every implant is recorded with LOT and REF numbers in an Implant Passport.
How much does one dental implant cost in Turkey?
At DentArma, a single dental implant costs £300–£800 (≈ $400–$1,080 / €350–€930), depending on the implant brand. The abutment and crown that complete the tooth are itemised separately in a fixed written quote.
How much are the best full mouth dental implants in Turkey?
Published 2026 price guides put All-on-4 in Turkey at roughly £2,100–£7,200 per jaw, so a full mouth of both jaws is roughly £4,300–£14,500. At DentArma, full mouth All-on-4 starts from [CONFIRM: £6,000] and All-on-6 from [CONFIRM: £7,800] for both jaws, including final zirconia bridges, hotel and VIP transfers for both visits.
What should a full mouth dental implants package deal in Turkey include?
A good full mouth package states in writing: the 3D scan and consultation, extractions, the implant brand and number of implants per jaw, fixed temporary teeth, the final bridge material, hotel and transfers for both visits, medication, an implant passport with batch numbers, written guarantees and aftercare near home. Flights, and a bone graft if your scan shows you need one, are usually priced separately.
Are cheap dental implants in Turkey worth the risk?
A low price is not a risk in itself; an unexplained low price is. When a quote is far below others, the saving usually comes from an unnamed implant system, a final bridge that is not included or is made of acrylic, or a second visit that is not covered. Ask for every line in writing and compare like with like.
How many trips do dental implants in Turkey take?
Usually two. The first visit, of about a week, covers the scan and implant placement. After three to six months of healing at home, the second visit fits the final crown or bridge. Full mouth treatment follows the same two-trip pattern, with fixed temporary teeth in between in most cases.
What happens if I have a problem with my implants after I get home?
Contact the clinic first; DentArma patients have direct WhatsApp access to the clinical team. UK patients can be seen for check-ups and minor aftercare at DentArma’s independent partner practices in Surrey, South Croydon and Glasgow. Implants carry a lifetime manufacturer guarantee and crowns and bridges a 5-year written clinic warranty.
How can I check a Turkish implant clinic's credentials myself?
Ask for the full names of the dentists who will plan and place your implants, and look up academic titles and publications on YÖK Akademik, the Turkish Council of Higher Education’s public database. Check that the clinic is authorised by the Turkish Ministry of Health for international patients, read reviews on an independent platform, and ask for the implant brand and batch numbers in writing.
