UK Aftercare Clinics
Three UK clinics, so your aftercare doesn't need a flight

The most common worry about having dental treatment abroad isn’t the treatment it’s the year after. Who looks at this when I’m home? What if something needs attention in March and the clinic is in Antalya? It’s a fair question, and most clinics answer it with a WhatsApp number. DentArma answers it with three addresses in the UK, which is why this page exists: so you can see exactly where they are, what they do, and what they don’t, before you decide anything.
The direct answer
DentArma patients in the UK are supported by three independent, GDC-registered partner practices: Aesthetica Dental Clinique in Bletchingley, Surrey; Immediate Dental Care in South Croydon, Greater London; and The Station Dental Surgery in Uddingston, Glasgow. They provide yearly check-ups, minor aftercare and consultations so routine follow-up happens close to home rather than in Turkey. They are not DentArma branches and they do not replace the surgical and laboratory facilities in Antalya: any major remedial work is planned with the clinic there. Between them they cover the South East, Greater London and central Scotland.
UK aftercare the essentials
- Three UK locations: Surrey, South Croydon and Glasgow covering the South East, Greater London and central Scotland.
- What they cover: yearly check-ups, minor aftercare and consultations the routine maintenance that keeps implant and cosmetic work healthy.
- What they don’t: major remedial or surgical work, which is planned with Antalya. We’d rather tell you that now than at reception.
- Independent and GDC-registered. You’re seen by a UK-registered clinician under UK regulation not a visiting team.
- Bring your documentation. Your Implant Passport and Crown Certificate tell any dentist exactly what was placed, down to the batch number.
- Not near one? Routine maintenance can be done by any dentist. Internationally distributed brands plus full documentation are what make that possible anywhere in the world.
The three UK aftercare clinics
Each is an established UK practice with its own patients, its own reputation and its own GDC registration. They work with DentArma to look after its patients between visits to Antalya.
Aesthetica Dental Clinique
Address The Barn, High Street, Bletchingley,
Redhill RH1 4PA, United Kingdom
Booking Arranged through DentArma contact your patient coordinator rather than the practice directly
Convenient for
Surrey, Sussex, Kent and the wider South East a short drive from the M23 and M25, with Redhill and Reigate nearby.
Immediate Dental Care
Address 337 Limpsfield Road, South Croydon,
CR2 9BY, United Kingdom
Booking Arranged through DentArma contact your patient coordinator rather than the practice directly
Convenient for
Greater London, South London and north Surrey accessible from central London and well served by road and rail.
The Station Dental Surgery
Address 53 Bellshill Road, Uddingston,
Glasgow G71 7PA, United Kingdom
Booking Arranged through DentArma contact your patient coordinator rather than the practice directly
Convenient for
Glasgow, Lanarkshire and central Scotland Uddingston sits just off the M74, within easy reach of Glasgow, Hamilton and Motherwell.
Scotland was added so that patients in the north aren’t effectively excluded from the aftercare arrangement a fair criticism of clinics whose UK presence stops at the M25.
Appointments are arranged through DentArma rather than by contacting the practices directly. That isn’t bureaucracy it’s so your treatment records reach the practice before you walk in. A patient who phones a practice cold arrives as a stranger with unfamiliar implants; a patient booked through your coordinator arrives with their case already on the clinician’s desk.
What the UK clinics do and what they don't
Being precise about this protects you from a wasted journey, so here it is plainly.
| Handled in the UK | Planned with Antalya |
|---|---|
| ✓ Yearly check-ups routine examination of implants, crowns, bridges and veneers | Major remedial or surgical work |
| ✓ Gum and bone health assessment around your restorations | Replacement of a bridge or multiple units |
| ✓ Minor aftercare small adjustments and routine attention | Additional implant placement |
| ✓ Consultations a face-to-face conversation if something doesn't feel right | Work requiring the clinic's own laboratory |
Why we draw the line here
Full-arch and complex restorative work depends on the surgical facilities, imaging and in-house planning in Antalya, and on the professors who designed your case. A UK practice carrying out routine maintenance is doing exactly what it should; a UK practice attempting major revision of someone else’s full-arch work generally isn’t. Routine care close to home, complex care where your case was planned that division is deliberate, and it’s the one that protects your result.
Why this answers the biggest objection to treatment abroad
The most repeated criticism of dental treatment abroad is that patients struggle to find follow-up care once they’re home. It’s a real problem, and it has two distinct causes worth separating, because only one of them is about Turkey.
The first is professional liability. When a dentist takes over another clinician’s treatment, they assume responsibility for decisions they didn’t make. Many decline on principle and they decline for work done in their own country too. A named partner practice that already knows the clinic, its protocols and its materials removes that friction.
The second is identification. If an implant system can’t be identified, or isn’t distributed in the UK, no local dentist can order compatible components. This one is entirely preventable: DentArma places only internationally distributed implant brands Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Neodent, Osstem and S.I.N. by Henry Schein and documents every component. Your treatment is identifiable and serviceable in any country that stocks those systems, which is most of them.

What to bring to your appointment
Every DentArma patient leaves Antalya with an Implant Passport and Crown Certificate. Bring them to every appointment, in the UK or anywhere else. They record:
- The implant brand and model placed, for each implant
- The crown, veneer or bridge material and its manufacturer
- The LOT and REF numbers tracing every component to its production batch
- What was done to each tooth, in writing
That document is the difference between a dentist saying “I can see you” and “I can’t identify this”. It also means that if you move house, change dentist, or travel, your treatment goes with you in a form anyone can read. Keep a photograph of it on your phone as a backup.
How to book a UK aftercare appointment
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Contact DentArma first | Message your patient coordinator rather than approaching the practice directly so your records reach them in advance and the appointment is useful rather than exploratory |
| 2. Clinic confirmed | The coordinator confirms which of the three is most convenient, and what the appointment will cover |
| 3. Costs confirmed in writing | What's included and what, if anything, is chargeable by the UK practice agreed before you attend, not at reception |
| 4. Attend with documentation | Bring your Implant Passport and Crown Certificate |
| 5. Findings shared | Anything needing attention is relayed to the clinical team in Antalya, who advise on next steps |
How often? A yearly check-up with professional cleaning is the standard rhythm, plus a check within the first month of returning home and a review at around six months after implant treatment. Published long-term survival figures for premium implant brands assume this kind of routine maintenance skipping it is the most common reason good work underperforms.
If you're not near Surrey, Croydon or Glasgow
Three clinics don’t cover a country, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. If you’re in Cornwall, Norfolk or the Highlands, the honest position is this: routine maintenance can be carried out by any dentist.
Cleaning, monitoring, hygiene appointments and check-ups on implants and restorations are standard dental care the brand and documentation are what make them straightforward, not the location. Because DentArma uses internationally distributed implant systems and records every component, a practice in your own town can identify and service your treatment without ever contacting Turkey. The three partner clinics are an added convenience for those within reach, not the only route to aftercare.
A practical tip: ask your local practice before you travel, not after. “I’m having implants placed abroad and I’ll have full written documentation of the brand and batch numbers can I see you for ongoing check-ups?” A practice that says yes without hesitation is the right one. A practice that hesitates has told you something useful while you still have time to find another.
Patients in Europe, North America and Australia
The same two safeguards apply, and they travel further than any clinic network could: internationally distributed implant brands available in your own country, and full written documentation of exactly what was placed. Every patient also has direct WhatsApp access to the clinic in Antalya for questions and triage at any stage.
The clinic behind the arrangement
DentArma is a professor-led dental center in the Lara district of Antalya, founded and led by Prof. Dr. Emre Şeker and Prof. Dr. Başak Şeker. It has treated more than 7,000 international patients over 20+ years, is supported by a 27-person clinical and patient-care team, holds 4.9 / 5 across 700+ verified online reviews, and is authorised by the Turkish Ministry of Health to care for and treat international patients.
The clinic is an award-winning dental center recognised in 2026 [REPLACE: exact award name & awarding body]. Implants carry a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer and crowns and bridges a 5-year clinic warranty, both in writing. UK patients can also meet the team in person at a UK Meeting Day an information and introduction event before making any decision.

Prof. Dr. Emre Şeker
A published, peer-reviewed academic with 40+ publications and founding professor at DentArma, where he personally leads and reviews implant and full-arch cases including the planning decisions that determine how serviceable your treatment will be years later, wherever you are.

Prof. Dr. Başak Şeker
Founding professor at DentArma and a professor of periodontology. Because the great majority of late implant and crown failures begin as gum and bone problems, the periodontal assessment carried out at your yearly check-up is the single most valuable part of routine aftercare.
Frequently asked questions
Where are DentArma's UK aftercare clinics?
Three independent, GDC-registered partner practices: Aesthetica Dental Clinique in Bletchingley, Surrey; Immediate Dental Care in South Croydon, Greater London; and The Station Dental Surgery in Uddingston, Glasgow covering the South East, Greater London and central Scotland.
What can the UK aftercare clinics do?
Yearly check-ups, minor aftercare and consultations. That covers routine examination of implants, crowns, bridges and veneers, assessment of gum health around your restorations, small adjustments, and a face-to-face conversation if something doesn’t feel right. They’re not a substitute for the surgical and laboratory facilities in Antalya, so major remedial work is planned with the clinic in Turkey.
Do I have to pay for UK aftercare appointments?
Arrangements vary by practice and by what the appointment involves. Contact DentArma before booking and your patient coordinator will confirm what’s covered under your treatment and what, if anything, is chargeable by the UK practice in writing, before you attend.
Are the UK aftercare clinics part of DentArma?
No. They’re independent UK dental practices, registered with the General Dental Council, working in partnership with DentArma. That independence is a benefit: you’re seen by a UK-registered clinician operating under UK regulation, with your Turkish treatment fully documented so they know exactly what was placed.
What should I bring to an appointment?
Your Implant Passport and Crown Certificate recording the implant brand and model, the crown or bridge material and manufacturer, and the LOT and REF numbers tracing each component to its batch. With those, any dentist can identify precisely what was placed and order compatible components if ever needed.
How often should I have a check-up?
A yearly check-up with professional cleaning is the standard rhythm, plus a check within the first month of returning home and a review at around six months after implant treatment. Published survival figures for premium implant brands assume this maintenance.
What if I don't live near one of the three clinics?
Routine maintenance can be carried out by any dentist, anywhere. Because DentArma uses only internationally distributed implant brands and documents every component, a local practice can identify and service your treatment without contacting Turkey. The three partner clinics are an added convenience, not the only route.
Can patients outside the UK get local aftercare?
Yes through the same two safeguards: internationally distributed implant brands available in your own country, and full written documentation of what was placed. Every patient also has direct WhatsApp access to the clinic in Antalya for questions and triage at any stage.
How do I book?
Contact DentArma first rather than approaching the UK practice directly. Your coordinator confirms which clinic is most convenient, what the appointment covers and what’s included, and makes sure the practice has your treatment records in advance.
Why does UK aftercare matter for treatment abroad?
Because the most common criticism of treatment abroad is that patients struggle to find follow-up once home. Two causes: dentists declining to take clinical responsibility for another clinician’s work, and implant systems that can’t be identified or serviced locally. Documented, internationally distributed brands solve the second entirely; a named UK partner practice addresses the first.
Ask about aftercare before you ask about price.
It’s the question that matters most twelve months from now. Send your X-ray or photos for a free, no-obligation treatment plan with the implant brand, documentation and aftercare arrangements set out in writing.
